Salon® caps are part of the AMK 2000® trademark and the Design from Finland brand. AMK 2000® trademark defined the official industry-specific color ribbons. Design from Finland mark communicates the origin of the planning, design, research and product development behind Finnish design, as well as Finnish innovations. The design has its origins in the 80s.
On the market you can also find caps without color-coded degree titles as well as the unions own designed caps.

The decorative ribbon is a thin ribbon that is attached to the border of the white velvet of the cap.
