We are a vibrant Finnish family business. The hat factory is located in an idyllic factory environment in Sastamala, in the heart of Pirkanmaa.

Salon® headwear is known for Finnish design, quality products and responsible materials.

Our collection covers a wide selection of caps, hats and beanies for women, men and children.

In the production of the products we use traditional high-quality materials such as merino wool, linen, cotton and felt. New technical materials are also used in the production, which are used to protect e.g. from water, wind and UV radiation.

Salon Lakkitehdas’ range of products has something for all graduates. The official graduation caps, which were awarded the Design from Finland symbol, cover all general upper secondary qualifications, upper secondary level vocational qualifications, and degrees from university of applied sciences. The Design from Finland symbol conveys the origin of the unique Finnish design, and highlights the significance of the intangible work to Finland’s success and employment.

We have been granted an EcoCompass Certificate. For us, environmental responsibility means concrete actions in our own operations. We are committed to saving natural resources and increasing the positive impact on the environment.
